Baby Steps

Mr X is making progress. He seems to have lost the mood swings which is a big relief. His memory still isn't great and several times a day he comes up to me and repeats things that he had already said to me earlier. Still, I much prefer this to his shouting and moaning.

One thing that really annoys me is the uncertainty of our future. When we chat about it, he seems willing to go back to work. Yet when he is speaking to his friends, he tells them otherwise. I don't like surprises, especially those concerning our future and the kid's. Of course I would never force him to go back to work, but I would like to know in advance what his plan is so that I can plan for us. If it means I have to go back to work, then I need him to let me know in advance so that I can start job hunting. I guess why I'm annoyed is because he speaks about our future so carelessly to his friends while I have sleepless nights worrying about how we're going to make ends meet.
